Build Brighter Futures!

Meridian voters are considering a school construction bond that will build a new Meridian Middle School and address other safety concerns at Meridian High School.

Build a New Meridian Middle School

Meridian Middle School was built in 1938. Though it has been well maintained, signs of wear are evident throughout and expenses to maintain the school continue to grow. In addition, there are safety concerns.

Meridian High School Projects

Repairs are needed to the masonry and roof at the Performing Arts Center. Part of this project would move band/choir into the main campus to create a closed campus which is safer for students and staff. The stadium lighting is rotting and leaning. The stadium itself has rotting beams. The school also needs a generator to provide emergency power.

Ballots Due Nov. 5, 2024.

A Good Steward of Your Money

The district has been a good steward of our local tax dollars. Which is why an overwhelming majority of Meridian families have approved this levy for more than 20 years. The district continually receives clean financial audits, and have demonstrated they take good care of school buildings, grounds, equipment and buses.

“By voting yes, we’re not just investing in our schools; we’re investing in the future of our community. Our children deserve the best education we can provide, and we have a responsibility to ensure they have the opportunities they need to succeed.”
